Week 1: Fevruary 6th til 18th, 2026

Arrecife Carnaval 2026, the main event energy

Arrecife kicks off first and runs the longest. It is the island's capital Carnaval so think bigger stages, more official program nights ad the most "everyone ends up here at some point" feeling. It also hast a clear 2026 theme, The kids TV nostalgia.

San Bartolomé Carnival 2026 begins on the 8th of February and goes till the 20th of the same month

This is the best week to catch Arrecife's big program night while the city is fully in Carnival mode.

San Bartolomé continues building to the big days

Workshops and events roll through the week acroos the municipality.

Week 3: From february the 16th till February the 22nd, 2026

San Bartolomé and Playa Honda have their big Guachinango Finale.

The key anchors that are officially stated are:

- Carnival tuesday: feburary 17th

- Closing: February 20th in Playa Honda with the traditional Quema del Guachinango

The closing burn is their moment, it is very "this is ours".

Puerto del Carmen Carnival 2026, February 19th till 22nd

This one is super accessible of you are staying in Puerto del Carmen, Matagorda or Playa de los Pocillos. It is set around the Caradero area, so if you just walk in you are in the party. The official theme is "Los locos Años 20 "

Week 4: From february 23rd till March the 1st, 2026

It is the Haría Carnivals, the north weekend.

The main week is widely listed ad February 27th till 29th.

The Haría town hall specifically confirms the Coso on February 28th.

The Haría Carnival is smaller, more intimate and more "everyone knows everyone", this is a great pick if you want a Carnival without the mega crowd feeling.

Week 5: March 2nd till 8th, 2026

Teguise, Costa Teguise and La Graciosa Carnival

- Presentation of groups is on the 8th of February in Villa de Teguise

- The main acts ( Costa Teguise and Villa) is on March 2nd till 8th

- La Graciosa is from March 12th till 15th.

These are multi location Carnival, you can catch different styles across the municupality, plus the La Graciosa Carnival later on.

Tinajo Carnival 2026, March 6th till 8th, this one is short, punchy and theme led

Tinajo confirms its Carnival dates for marcg 6th, 7th and 8th, 2026.

It is a great compact weekend you can plan easily and the 2026 theme is officially "Vikingo".

Week 6: March 9th till 15th, 2026

The Playa Blanca (Yaiza) Carnival 2026, starting march 12th till 15th, the south finale.

The Yaiza municipality theme is "Los Dioses del Olimpio". This is the big closing party, very tourist friendly, and very easy to combine with dinner, marina stroll and the finishing Carnival season with a bang.
