Do not make these 6 Packing Mistakes for Lanzarote

Do not make these 6 Packing Mistakes for Lanzarote

If you are googling " what to pack for Lanzarote" or building a packing list the night before your flight, here is the real version for you.

These are the 6 things you will be genuinely glad you packed, and six mistakes people male when they do not listen to me hahah.

1. Do not arrive wihtout reef shoes

Lanzarote beaches are super duper gorgeous, but volcanic rock is sharp and some easy entries are not barefoot friendly.

Reef shoes save you from the classic holiday injury: stepping on something spiky and walking like a pirate for the next three days.

2. Do not rely on "I will buy sunscreen there"

You will pay more, you will buy the wrong SPF and you will forget it on day one. Pack a big, high SPF sunscreen and a small one for your bag.

Lanzarote really does not care if it is winter.

3. Do not skip a light wind layer

This is the sneaky one! Lanzarote can feel hot in the summer and suddenly breezy when you are on the coast, at a viewpoint or out late. Pack a thin hoodie or better so a windbreaker. You will use it more than you think.

4. Do not forget a portable power bank

Between beach photos, Vidodo Guide and " can you play this song again?" , youe phone will die very fast. A power bank turns a chaotic day into a smooth one, especially on Timanfaya, Papagayo or longer drives.

5. Do not come wihtout a small beach bag

This is your sanity kit: wipes, mini first aid for if you did not listen about the reef shoes, snacks and a little trash bag. It sounds boring until you are miles from a bin with a sticky cjild and half an eaten banana.

6. Do not try to "wing it" on directions when signals drop

Some areas are patchy and the moment you are hot, wet and tryig to leave a car park is the worst ime to load a map.

Vidodo Guide helps here, use it for offline routes and GPS audio tours,so you are not stopping constanlty or burning data while you should be exploring.
