Holiday time is here! Best part of the year where you stop rushing and start enjoying the simple things, and Lanzarote is the perfect place for that. The island is not too small, not too big but exactly the ideal size, so you can explore a lot in a few days while still being in your ultimate relaxing state. 

If you want an easy plan that works even in the windy times, here is my go-to mix.

Playa de famara is one of the most dramatic beaches on the island, huge, wild, and absolutely beautiful for long walks and sunset views.

Small safety tip tho: waves and currents can be strong, so if you´re with kids, stay cautious near the water and don’t assume its a calm swimming beach everyday.

Rancho Texas Lanzarote Park: the easiest ``yes´´day for families 

If you are travelling with kids or just want a guaranteed fun day then Rancho Texas Lanzarote Park is a must. It is one of those places where everyone finds something they like: shows, animals and a waterpark with slides!!!

Little schedule tip: go earlier, take a lunch break and then to end the day the waterpark dor a cool down.

Things to Do in Playa Blanca, Lanzarote
Playa Blanca is at the very bottom of Lanzarote, sitting quietly while the bigger resorts do their thing further north. It has a proper marina, three swimmable beaches, the ferry to Fuerteventura, and a promenade that goes all the way to a lighthouse. It’s more relaxed than anywhere else on the island, and that’s not a complaint.
