Lanzarote with Kids: Your 7-Day Family Itinerary

Lanzarote with Kids: Your 7-Day Family Itinerary

So you are Googling: Lanzarote with kids, because you want the real version, the calm beaches and volcano days without a car queue nightmare, waterparks that feel worth the money....This Lanzarote family itinerary is short, practical and built around how families actually travel that means, snack first and naps are sacred.

One thing that genienly makes the week smoother is Vidodo Guide, offline and GPS triggeres routes so you are not stopping every five minutes to re check where tge becah is or explain what you are driving past.

Let us start:

Day 1: Playa Blanca- land, breath and calm beach

Arrive, unpack and let us go to the beach.

Best calm beaches in Playa Blanca are Playa Dorada and Playa Flamingo.

Keep Dinner simple, tonight just walk the seafront promenade and pick a spot, plenty of solid dinner options there.

Day 2: Aqualava Waterpark in Playa Blanca, best with younger kids

This is the easy win waterpark day.

Tickets for Adults are 30€ and for kids 20€

Some slides have a 1.20m minimum hight, so avoid promising the big slide until you have eyeballed the sign.

Do not forget your sunscreen!

Day 3: Timanfaya National Park with Kids

The Timanfaya National Park tours is the main event, geothermal demos and the official bus route through the lava fields.

Critical timing hack: go at 9 AM sharp or after 3 PM, at 10 AM is where the big tour buses arrive and queues can get ugly.

The Vidodo Guide moment: the GPS audio gere is gold, kids get the volcano story while you drive and you do not have to narrate the whole island ;).

If you want a quick bite inside the park area, El Diablo is the classic stop.

Day 4: Aquapark in Costa Teguise

If Aqualava was the warm up, this is the big splash day, more slides, more laughs and the kind of tiredness that giarantees an easy evening. Standard entry is 30€ for adults and 20€ for kids.

VidodoGuide tip: you can set your next stop in advance and use offline navigation, you are not standing in the heat with wet, impatient kids while your phone is loading.

Day 5: Papagayo beaches, the postcard moment

Papagayo is the "how is this even real?" day.

Pack everything, water, snacks and shade. Services are limited.

Do not foegt to bring am extra bag to use as a bin there.

The easiest coves with kids are Playa de las Coloradas, it is the closest and simplest, main Playa de Papagayo aslo tends to be the most managable to access.

Day 6: Rancho Tecas and Jameos del Agua

Start ealy at Rancho texas and focus on the animals and shows while everyone is fresh. After lunch , you have got two options: stay and use the water area if the kidsd are still buzzing or swap slides time for a calmer, wow factor afternoon by driving north to Jameos del Agua. The cave-laggoon setting feels magical and the tiny blind albino crabs are usually a guaranteed hit with younge kids.

Vidodo Guide moment: use GPS audio on the north drive. Kids get a story and you can also find out more about the island and bonus get 20 minutes of peace.

Day 7: Teguise Market Sunday and finally beach

The Teguise Plan, it works on Sundays from 9 AM till 2 PM, and i recommend yoing early.

Park strategy: follow the official Parking signs on the outskirts (often about 2 €). Do not try to drive into the center unless you enjoy one way street puzzles.

Finish with your favorite calm beach from earlier.

Have fun!
