Lanzarote Ferry Day Trips: collect islands like fridge magnets

Some people collect fridge magnets. On Lanzarote, we collect islands!

If you have already nailed the Lanzarote vibe (sun, volcano view, ''mañana means not tomorrow'' hahaha), here is your next fun upgrade: a ferry trip day.

Option 1: Orzola to La Graciosa ferry (Puerto de Órzola to Caleta de Sebo)

If you are like me and your holiday mood is slow, sandy and totally unbothered, take the Orzola to La Graciosa ferry from Puerto de Órzola to Caleta de Sebo. It is the classic La Graciosa day trip from Lanzarote: tiny streets, big sea views, the kind of calm that turns you into the slow walker you normally complain about.

Smart tip: check the La Graciosa ferry timetable/ferry schedule the same day, if the wind is in a mood, timetables can shift. Do not forget a light layer, the sea breeze is basically free air-conditioning.

Option 2: Playa Blanca to Corralejo ferry (Lanzarote to Fuerteventura)

If you want a bit more buzz (cafés, strolling, ''let´s pretend like we are not lost''), take the Playa Blanca to Corralejo ferry, Lanzarote to Corralejo fast ferry. Corralejo is an easy day out: walk, coffee, beach and repeat. Minimal effort and maximum ''we did a thing''.

Smart Tip: check the ferry Lanzarote to Fuerteventura timetable before you go, especially on windy weeks.

What to pack (keep it simple)

Sunscreen, sunglasses, water, a snake and a light layer for the ferry ride. If you are doing a ferry trip with kids as an extra layer, breezy boat decks are great until someone says, ''i am cold''.

Make it effortless with Vidodo Guide

Open VidodoGuide for a quick trip, ready-made routes and an Events section (so you always have a Plan B and your day doesn't turn into ''walking around hungry, deciding'' ).

Now go collect your next island. Magnet optional ;).

What Is a Verbena in Lanzarote? A Tourist Guide to Local Summer Nights
You will see the word verbena on a fiesta poster and wonder what it means. It is not a concert, not a club and not quite a village party either. It is all three and none of them at the same time: a late-night local celebration with live music, dancing, food, neighbours, families, visitors and the kind of atmosphere you only really understand once you are standing in the square.
