Welcome to School3S — our surf, stand-up paddle (SUP), and yoga school based in beautiful Lanzarote, Canary Islands. We offer surf lessons at Playa de Famara, one of the island’s most iconic beaches, perfect for both beginners and advanced surfers. Alongside surfing, we also share our passion for yoga and Yoga-SUP sessions, especially around the peaceful area of Puerto del Carmen. Whether you’re here to catch waves, find balance, or simply enjoy the ocean, we’re here to make your experience unforgettable.

Once we arrive at the meeting point, we prepare ourselves with all the necessary equipment and change if necessary. Then, we head down to the beach together, carrying the gear together in a relaxed and collaborative atmosphere. And then the adventure in the water begins!

Outdoor yoga

We will meet a few minutes before 9:00 a.m. to start the class on time. Don’t worry about the equipment — I’ll bring a yoga mat for you. Useful information: The practice takes place outdoors, in a natural setting. There are both sunny and shaded areas, so we recommend bringing a hat and some water to stay hydrated. As you know, yoga is based on concentration, presence, and inner calm. We kindly ask you to maintain a quiet atmosphere during the session so that everyone can fully enjoy the moment. Thank you for helping us create an atmosphere of peace and mindfulness!

Famara Surf Experience with Video, Relive Every Wave

Here's a rundown of how your day of surfing with us will unfold: Around 9:30 AM, our team will pick you up at or near your hotel. We'll arrive at Famara Beach, where we'll get you ready to go. You'll receive your wetsuit and board; if you're a beginner, you'll have a softboard, and if you have some experience, you can request a hardboard. After putting on your wetsuit and choosing your board, we'll do a warm-up on the beach, which is essential to avoid injuries. We'll have a short theoretical lesson (or a refresher for those with experience) on correct posture, fall safety, the leash, and potential currents. You'll spend most of the morning in the water, surfing your first waves accompanied by our qualified instructors, who will be with you to help and supervise you. At the end of the session, we'll return to the vehicle, where we'll offer you water and fruit to replenish your energy.
