Fiestas in Femés – San Marcial del Rubicón

From June 25 to July 8, 2025, the peaceful village of Femés, in southern Lanzarote, bursts into color and joy with its annual Fiestas in honour of San Marcial del Rubicón, the island’s patron saint. This traditional Canarian celebration combines music, food, cultural workshops, family games, and religious ceremonies across two lively weeks.

Sun, June 29: Kids’ cinema, percussion & skate workshops (from 17:00)

Mon–Wed, June 30 – July 2: Creative workshops (candles, key rings, floral art), wine tasting, dance and ballet performances

Fri, July 4: Comedy night with Omayra Cazorla and “Noche Joven” with top DJs

Sat, July 5: Foam party, Pamela Party with live bands, games for kids

Sun, July 6: Empanada contest, parranda, mass, and a Mariachi concert

Mon, July 7 – Big Day: Folkloric parade, solemn mass, and the grand concert “Encuentro de Solistas San Marcial del Rubicón” featuring Shaila Dúrcal and Los Cantadores

Tue, July 8 – Closing: Popular Enyesque (Canarian tapas) with live band Son de Mar

Events take place mostly at the Plaza de San Marcial del Rubicón and local cultural center. Workshops require prior registration via WhatsApp (+34 628 366 035). All events are open to the public.
