Explore the silent power of salt, memory, and landscape in this evocative exhibition by Lanzarote artist Darío Machín. Opening on Saturday, 27 September 2025 at 12:00 PM, the exhibition runs until 19 December 2025 at La Cabina, a dedicated space within the Castillo de San José, home to the Museo Internacional de Arte Contemporáneo (MIAC) in Arrecife.
Through sculptural installations made from wood, metal, and salt-crystallised textiles—sourced from desalination processes—Machín creates a poetic dialogue between architecture, territory, and collective memory. His work invites contemplation on resilience, transformation, and the passage of time, reflecting Lanzarote’s connection to the coastal environment.
This exhibition is part of the 2025 Cultural Projects Call by the Art, Culture, and Tourism Centers of Lanzarote.
