Culture & Tradition in Teguise

In La Villa de Teguise you’ll find a full month of music, art, film and tradition. Throughout November enjoy cozy concerts in historic venues, intimate exhibitions, alternative cinema, book presentations and festivals that celebrate the island’s identity. All events are open and ready for you to join and feel the Canary‑style cultural spirit.

Highlighted dates and activities:

8 November – II Jornada de Juego de Palo: talk at 10:00, demonstration at 15:00 and performance at 18:30 at the House‑Museum of Timple and Plaza de los Leones. Free entry.

13 November – Book launch “La sangre de la malvasía” by Jorge Laguna at the Municipal Library “Nieves Castillo Bonilla”. Free entry.

14‑16 November – Canarias Surf Film Festival: film screenings, outdoor activities and a local brands market at the House‑Museum of Timple (14–15 from 18:00 to 22:30; 16 from 09:30 to 19:00).

15 November – Opera Gala “Bel Canto Espectacular” at 19:00 h, Convent of Santo Domingo. Tickets: €15.

20 November – Festival Conciencia Estefanía Curbelo 18:30 h, Convent of Santo Domingo. Art and music, free until full capacity.

21 November – Domini in concert, 20:30 h, House‑Museum of Timple.

28 November – Toñín Corujo Quartet, 20:30 h, House‑Museum of Timple.

29 November – Festival Calicanto, 20:30 h, Convent of Santo Domingo. Free entry.
