Cronoescalada Valle del Malpaso – Valle del Malpaso cycling hill climb time trial

Cronoescalada Valle del Malpaso is a cycling hill-climb time trial 🧗‍♀️🚴‍♂️ that goes from Haría’s main square (Plaza de Haría) up to the Mirador de Los Helechos, along the LZ-10 road. The course is only 4.97 km, but with +329 m of elevation gain and an average gradient of 6.5 %, so it feels short, steep and intense.
The race is run as an individual time trial (CRI) and also includes an individual Handbike category, so riders with different abilities can take on the same climb at their own pace.
The atmosphere is friendly and supportive: the village of Haría welcomes both local and visiting cyclists who want to test themselves against the clock in one of the most scenic valleys in northern Lanzarote. You don’t need to be a pro, but you should be ready for a solid effort on the climb… and a big smile at the finish 😄
