Tinajo Carnival 2026 (Vikings) — Coso Parade Day

This is the start of Tinajo's carnival weekend, with the 2026 theme officially announced as "Vikings." Tinajo's carnival is known for feeling very local and community-driven: people from the town and nearby villages come out in costumes, groups meet up in the centre, and the atmosphere builds quickly because everything is concentrated in a small area.

Contest participants must be visible 11:00 PM–1:30 AM for judging

🕒 3:00 PM - Nueva Stella performance
Throughout the day: Hat Festival, Children's Carnival Hat Contest, inflatables, and food stalls (ventorrillos)
