Teguise Carnival 2026 — Presentation of Carnival Groups

This is the official “kick-off night” for the Carnival of La Graciosa, Costa Teguise and the Villa de Teguise — but hosted in the Villa de Teguise. It’s designed as a presentation + showcase evening where the local carnival groups are introduced and you get a first taste of the carnival mood before the main week in March.

Expect a stage-based event (not a roaming parade): groups appear one by one, the atmosphere builds as friends/families cheer them on, and you get a clear feel for the styles you’ll see later (music/percussion, costumes, choreography, and that very “Teguise carnival” character). It’s a great one to attend if you want to understand who the local groups are and start the carnival season with something easy and family-friendly in one place.
