🎭 Festival Teatro Escolar Lanzarote 2026 - 8th Edition 🎭

Get ready for an incredible celebration of young talent and creativity! The 8th edition of the School Theatre Festival brings together students from across Lanzarote for four days of theatrical magic. This isn't just a performance festival – it's a transformative cultural and educational experience where young people become the protagonists, creating and sharing their own theatrical productions!
Organized by Cuerpo Teatro and the Cabildo de Lanzarote's Culture Department, this non-competitive festival celebrates collective creation, expression, and dialogue through performing arts. Schools have been working on their productions for months, and now they're ready to share them with the community. The festival tackles important themes like bullying, climate change, migration, adolescence, identity, and the power of imagination and reading.
For the first time ever, the festival is open to the general public! Morning performances will showcase original theatrical pieces created by students from CEIP Ajei, CEIP Tao, CEIP Las Mercedes, IES Las Salinas, IES César Manrique, IES Tías, IES Puerto del Carmen, and IES San Bartolomé.
