Tinajo Carnival 2026 (Vikings) — Opening Day (Tinajo)

This is the start of Tinajo’s carnival weekend, with the 2026 theme officially announced as “Vikings.” Tinajo’s carnival is known for feeling very local and community-driven: people from the town and nearby villages come out in costumes, groups meet up in the centre, and the atmosphere builds quickly because everything is concentrated in a small area.

Because the municipality has confirmed the dates (6–8 March 2026) but has not yet published the full programme (times, exact stages/streets, and which acts happen on which day), the safest accurate way to plan is:

expect the main activity to be around the town centre, with the detailed timetable to follow in the official programme.
