This is the second day of Ojos del Océano, staged inside the surreal volcanic setting of Jameos del Agua. Instead of a theatre stage, the piece is performed on the venue’s dance floor area, so the audience experiences contemporary dance surrounded by lava-formed architecture, acoustics, and that famous “Jameos atmosphere.”
The work is designed as a sensory, reflective journey around the tension between movement and stillness—how we resist, how we let go, and whether we move by choice or by inertia. Two performers (Rocío Erpel and Adrián Martínez) embody that push-and-pull through physical, poetic choreography.
It’s very tourist-friendly because it runs as three short showings in one day: you can visit the centre, take photos, explore the site, and then simply time your visit for one of the performance slots. And importantly: the performance is included with the general entry ticket—there is no separate show ticket for Ojos del Océano.
